- An ultra collector rarity from the beginning of Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren's defining collaboration. First opening in 1971, the duo's powerhouse boutique 'Sex' was a central fixture in the rising British subcultural punk movement. Known for its risqué inventory of leather goods, the shop set the tone for both Westwood and McLaren's rising stardom in subversive fashion and music. The store would undergo multiple name and theme changes, eventually becoming Westwood's iconic 'World's End' boutique. However, it would remain a hub for burgeoning musicians, designers, and creatives until its closing in 1983.
